Day-long discussion on climate change and its effects on Rhode Island

The URI Coastal Institute and the RI Coastal Resources Management Council are hosting a day-long discussion on climate change and its effects on Rhode Island.

The free conference is of particular interest to owners of coastal property.

The day’s event will include discussions led by the CRMC, the URI Graduate School of Oceanography, the state geologist and other experts.

Seating is limited and reservations are required. To register on line go to www.crmc.ri.gov. Registration is also possible by called CRMC at 783-7886.

The program is sponsored by the Rhode Island Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and the RI Sea Grant College Program.
