Wildlife Biologist
Who: The ideal candidate will possess a Masters
degree (a Bachelors is acceptable) in wildlife biology, zoology,
ecology, botany, or range science, 1 to 5 years minimum of field
experience within the Arizona and Southwest region, working knowledge
of environmental regulations including NEPA and ESA, experience
with wetland delineation and Section 404 permitting, and experience
working with state wildlife agencies and federal land management
agencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are
essential.

Fisheries Biologist
Who: Seeking an entry- to mid-level fisheries biologist
/ aquatic ecologist to join its thriving natural resources group
based in Sacramento, California. The successful applicant will provide
a supporting role in fisheries, aquatic ecology, water quality,
and hydrology technical work involving ESA permitting, ecological
restoration, resource management planning, biological impact analysis
for CEQA and NEPA documents; and coordination with clients and regulatory
agencies. 2 to 5 years of prior consulting experience is preferred,
but non-consultant candidates with relevant experience are encouraged
to apply as well.

What: Projects will involve innovative mitigation
and conservation planning; multidisciplinary teamwork with biologists,
planners, landscape architects, and restoration ecologists; and
creative integration of natural resource analysis and project design.

Landscaping Help Wanted
Who: URI student, preferably with landscaping experience.

England Onsite Wastewater Training Program
What: cutting grass, trimming, general landscape
maintenance work, and some painting at our Training Center located
at Peckham Farm
When: April 28, 2007 (grass is growing fast) and
continuing through Fall 2007.
Position is Spring/Summer / Fall. Generally 15 hours/week in summer;
7 hours weekly in academic year. The hours are flexible, work can
be done in evenings or weekends.
Where: URI Cooperative Extension, the center is
within walking distance of campus.
