Professional Interests:

My major interest is in undergraduate teaching and advising. I teach six courses in the areas of floriculture, greenhouse management, interior plantscaping, herbaceous plant materials and horticultural therapy. I advise students in the Urban Horticulture, Horticultural Therapy, or Plant Science Majors.

I provide assistance commercial greenhouse growers, horticultural therapy programs, and home horticulturists. I participated in founding the regional New England Greenhouse Conference, and am active in various state, regional, and national organizations for floriculture, horticulture and horticultural therapy.

I am the current President of the New England Chapter of the American Horticultural Therapy Association and coordinator for the 1996 Annual American Horticultural Therapy Conference.
