Baptisia tinctoria

False Indigo

Another yellow-flowered Baptisia, somewhat shorter with a more open spreading habit than B. sphaerocarpa. Full sun, drought tolerant. All Baptisia are deep-rooted legumes. Native to RI. 2-3' x 2-3'.
