Wide-spreading, dense thorny tree. Glossy dark green foliage turns purple, orange, and red in fall. White flowers in flat clusters late spring. Shiny red fruits persist into winter. Well drained soil, pH adaptable, full sun. Native to RI. 20-30' x 20-30'.
