White Oak

Large slow-growing tree. Dark green lobed leaves are whitish underneath. Light gray bark. Brown to reddish purple fall foliage, small (to 1 inch) acorns. Full sun. Prefers deep rich moist acid soil. Tolerates wind, salt. Native to RI. 50-90’ x 50-90’.
