Schizophragma hydrangeoides

Japanese Hydrangea Vine

Deciduous woody stemmed climbing vine with dark green heart-shaped toothed leaves. Foliage turns yellow in fall. Large white flower clusters which resemble lace-cap hydrangea flowers bloom in early summer. Will climb masonry or other vertical structure. Moist rich well drained soil, partial to full shade. 20-30’ x 6-9’.
